Welcome to MOST: Masters of Self-Taping (“MOST,” “the site,” “I,” “me”). By creating an account, buying the course, or using this site, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They’re written in plain language on purpose.
What you’re getting
MOST is a self-paced video course about self-taping for actors, with reading, assessments you log yourself, badges, and a community area for comments. When you buy it, you get access for life, which means the life of the course and this site. If I ever retire the course, I’ll give members reasonable notice.
What MOST is not
- MOST does not promise feedback on your tapes from me, approval of anything you do, or a weekly class. No videos are uploaded or reviewed.
- MOST does not promise you will book work, get an agent, or earn any amount of money. Acting is a hard business, and results depend on many things I don’t control. I’ve built the course to help you get better at self-taping. That’s the promise.
- Nothing here is legal, financial, or career-management advice.
Young actors
Young actors are welcome. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must supervise your use of MOST, make the purchase, and agree to these terms for you. Some lessons contain adult content (see below), so parents should preview before a young actor watches.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Your account is for you alone. Please don’t share your login, and don’t give others access to the lessons. Tell me right away if you think someone else is using your account.
Using the course
You get a personal, non-transferable license to watch and use the course for your own learning and your own auditions. Everything on the site (videos, lessons, scripts, images, badges, words, and the MOST name and logo) belongs to me or my licensors. Please don’t copy, record, download, resell, share, teach from, or republish it without my written permission. Scripts and sides inside lessons belong to their owners and are included for practice only.
A few lessons contain adult content and are marked with an R and a notice. By opening them you confirm you’re old enough to see them.
Comments and the community
When you post a comment or fill out the optional community card, you keep ownership of what you wrote, and you give me permission to display it on the site. Be kind and be useful. Don’t post anything harassing, hateful, illegal, spammy, or someone else’s private information, and don’t use comments to critique other members’ tapes. I can remove content or comments, and suspend accounts, that break these rules.
Ask Jordan
Ask Jordan answers questions using an AI system trained on the lessons in this course. The answers are written by AI, not by me personally, and they can be wrong. Treat them as study help, not as professional advice. Your questions are saved and I can read them. There are fair-use limits on how many questions you can ask.
Tape Review
A Tape Review is an optional one-on-one session, currently $30 for 20 minutes, open to paying members. You send a request, I confirm a time, and I email you a payment link. The session happens in my Google Meet. Sessions are a coaching conversation, not a guarantee of any result.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. Payments are handled by Stripe. The course comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, explained on the Refund Policy page.
Ending an account
You can ask me to close your account at any time. I can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, shares access, or abuses the site or a refund. If that happens within 30 days of purchase and it wasn’t your fault, you’ll still get your money back.
No warranties; limits on liability
I do my best to keep the site running and the lessons accurate, but the site and course are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost work or income), and my total liability to you for anything related to MOST is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the issue arose. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. When I do, I’ll change the date at the top, and for meaningful changes I’ll email members. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
